Global Children's Toy Industry Summit: The 12th International Children's Toy Expo kicks off in Shanghai

On October 18, 2023, the 12th Global Kids' Toy Expo was grandly opened at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. This exhibition brought together more than 800 exhibitors from 35 countries, including international brands such as LEGO, Mattel, Bandai, as well as local Chinese companies such as Pop Mart and Alpha Entertainment, showcasing over 20000 innovative toy products.

The theme of this exhibition is "Smart Future, Guarding Childhood", emphasizing both technological empowerment and traditional craftsmanship. The exhibits cover cutting-edge categories such as STEAM educational robots, AR interactive puzzles, biodegradable and environmentally friendly building blocks, among which the AI programmed dinosaur model launched by Chinese exhibitors has attracted industry attention. The wooden mechanical assembled toys brought by the German exhibition showcase the fusion of traditional European craftsmanship and modern design.

At the Global Toy Industry Summit held at the same time, the International Toy Association released the "2024 Children's Toy Safety White Paper", emphasizing the importance of traceable materials and age appropriate grading. On the first day of the exhibition, more than 600 million US dollars of intended cooperation orders were reached, and Chinese toy brands signed 10 cross-border cooperation agreements with Southeast Asian channel partners. It is expected that the total transaction volume of this year will exceed 2.5 billion US dollars.

The organizer announced that an online 365 day cloud exhibition will be established in 2024 to create an endless international platform for the toy industry and help global enterprises expand cross-border business opportunities. Light steel building houses
